Job Description
Lubbock, TX is hiring LVNs! This is a Psych/Behavioral Health facility working with patients with intellectual disabilities.
Duties: Passing meds, assessments, charting, LTC
Need: Psych LPN/LVN with minimum 1 year experience
Must have no past misdemeanors or past discipline on license
Length of Contract: 26 weeks
3 LVNs: 2pm-10pm
1 LVN: 10pm-6am
These all require working at least 32 hours and 2 weekends on/1 weekend off.
Job Duties:
- Administers medications and treatments orally, rectally, internally, or by injection .
- Documents and reports pertinent observations
- Communicates orally and in writing to other team members’ pertinent information. Documents according to facility policy.
- Manages individual’s medical record in Electronic Health Record or paper chart.
- Assists other staff in turning/repositioning individuals to administer treatments
Job Requirements for all candidates:
- Must be licensed LVN and able to practice in Texas
- Preferably 1+ year experience
- Experience needs to be hospital acute care, LTC, community clinics, public health, etc. (not Home Health or School Nurse)
Compensation $42-44/hr
