Job Description

We are hiring for an experienced childcare cook, Monday thru Friday.

Monday - Friday 6:15am -12:15pm

Pay range $15.50-$17.50/ hour based off experience

Because this is an early morning position and you will be responsible for opening the facility, a good fit for this position would be someone who is reliable with minimal to no call-ins. The cook is responsible for preparing and serving food to the children of our center while ensuring proper food handling and sanitation methods to maintain cleanliness and safety of kitchen/equipment.

Washing Dishes

Cleaning Kitchen

Conducting meal counts

Submitting milk orders

Inventory

Requirements

1. This person MUST have a valid driver license and be comfortable driving a passenger van as there may be times when they will have to substitute in for our morning van driver. This would involve dropping children off at school in the morning since we provide morning drop off.
2. Be able to pass a background check through DFPS
3. Have or be able to obtain a Food Handlers Certificate.
4. Be comfortable with excel spreadsheets and must be a team player.
