Chief Risk Officer (Banking) Location Hammond, LA :
Position Summary: The Chief Risk Officer is responsible for managing the execution and overseeing risk management activities across the bank established by the CEO and Board of Directors.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a comprehensive risk management framework for the bank to include all risks identified by the bank's primary regulator.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate all types of risks.
- Develop and implement risk guidelines to be approved by the board of directors.
- Conduct risk assessments.
- Report risk information to the Board of Directors and senior management
- Stay up to date on changes in the regulatory environment.
- Adhere to the BSA Policy and all other Bank Policies.
- Other duties and responsibilities as may be assigned by supervisor.
Minimum Qualifications (Education, Experience, Skills)
- Bachelor's degree in finance, risk management, or related field.
- Eight to ten years of experience in risk management required, preferably in the banking.
- Proven experience in developing and implementing effective risk management strategies.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Possesses an intimate knowledge of internal business processes and the banking industry.
- Exhibits business process knowledge and possesses a broad-based operational perspective of a financial institution.
- Attention to detail.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $190,000.00 - $230,000.00 per year
